U.S. Census 2020
The U.S. Census count of 2020 is a government agency, dedicated to counting every citizen. The Census Bureau of Lubbock, Texas, was a client of Texas Tech University’s Public Relations Showdown.
The Public Relations Showdown is a college-wide competition, in which communications majors compete for the best public relations campaign.
My team won first place in the research category and second place in the media kit category.

The Public Relations Showdown is a prestigious and cut-throat competition held annually at Texas Tech University. Bragging rights are everything! I was selected to be the copywriter of my team. We were honored with a first and second place win for our client, The Census Bureau of Lubbock, Texas for their promotion of the U.S. Census 2020.
